Anthony Williams

Originally from sunny Queensland, Anthony has completed a Masters of Sports Science at Bond Uni (2006), a Masters of Physiotherapy at UQ (2008) and in 2016 was awarded his Masters of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy from Griffith University.

That equates to no less than 10years of experience in the industry.

He has worked for sporting organisations such as the Noosa Tigers AFL, the Noosa International Rugby Sevens, the Triathlon World Cup series, Pan Pacific Masters games, the Balmain Rugby Club, was the lead Physiotherapist at the Australian Commonwealth Games in weightlifting, badminton and wrestling in 2018, various assignments with the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia (OWIA) for the AUS Ski Cross Team (World Cup Series) and Freestyle Mogul Team, has held the position as Head Performance Therapist touring for Cirque du Soleil on shows such as Totem, Luzia and Crystal. More recently he also provides consultancy to clinic teams at the Aus Defence Force (ADF) at Penguin (Balmoral) Underwater Training Facility and Randwick.

In private practice, Anthony has worked alongside OWIA Sports Physiotherapy Co-ordinator, Peter Hogg at Noosa Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy and Altitude Physiotherapy in Thredbo, clinics in Melbourne including with the esteemed multi-disciplinary team at Melbourne’s Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre and more recently was working alongside Fellow of the Australian College of Physiotherapists, Mick Moran (FACP) at Stadium Physiotherapy. Oh and I forgot, whilst he was at Stadium he also was working for the Sydney Roosters U16 and U18 Rugby League.

Anthony has recently moved to the Northern Beaches and is keen to get involved in activities that the local area has to offer such as surf life saving, B & B swim, surfing and mountain biking. As a result he may assimilate with some of the locals and is eager to offer support you in management of some of the injuries we see in this area.

We are so very excited to welcome Anthony onboard.
