Hannah Troake

Hannah graduated from Deakin University (Melbourne) in 2010 with a Bachelor in Exercise and Sports Science, majoring in exercise physiology before going on to complete her post graduate Doctor of Physiotherapy at Melbourne University in 2013. Following the successful completion of her double degree Hannah has worked in a number of private and professional sporting domains both internationally and locally.

Hannah started her career broadly by working at the Epworth Private Hospital (Melbourne) rotating through the different areas of physiotherapy before settling on her favourite area, musculoskeletal. After her stint in the city she moved to East Gippsland in Victoria, where she worked within the local community in a rehabilitation setting. Following this, Hannah moved to London (UK) to pursue her private practice career before returning to work on Groote island. Her time on the island was spent working on acute injury management and prevention within the mining sector as well as providing physiotherapy services to the local community clinics, NDIS services and privately.

In addition to this, Hannah has a strong background in professional sport and has worked with the Richmond Tigers AFL club, Melbourne Storm Rugby League team and has experience with the World Surfing League (WSL). Moreover, Hannah has a strong passion for travel and has combined the two through volunteering in many developing countries such as Nepal, Brazil and South Africa.

In her spare time Hannah enjoys, travelling, surfing, camping, fishing and playing basketball. She has moved to the Northern Beaches after travelling for a number of years and intends to make this place her home!

Hannah has slotted in to our MGS Mona Vale rooms just like she has been there for years, we love having her on board.
