Ariella Posniak

Physiotherapist

A Northern Beaches Local with a Passion for Movement

Ariella grew up spending most weekends on the Northern Beaches with her family and friends. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Science majoring in human anatomy from the University of New South Wales, followed by a Doctor of Physiotherapy at Macquarie University.

Expertise in Sports Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates

Ariella has undergone further training in sports physiotherapy and clinical Pilates, both of which she incorporates into her daily practice. Her passion for physiotherapy stems from a lifelong interest in anatomy, movement, and helping others return to what they love.

A Patient-Centred Approach to Treatment

Ariella believes in working collaboratively with her patients. Her treatment approach combines education, hands-on techniques such as soft tissue therapy and joint mobilisation, and tailored exercise programs. She focuses on practical, goal-oriented exercises that integrate seamlessly into each patient’s lifestyle.

Experience Across All Stages of Rehabilitation

With experience in inpatient, outpatient, and private practice rehab settings, Ariella has a strong understanding of the full recovery journey. She has a particular interest in treating pre- and post-operative knee and hip replacements, and takes pride in helping patients regain strength and function.

Supporting Active Lifestyles and Sports Injury Prevention

As a passionate boulderer and outdoor adventurer herself, Ariella has a deep appreciation for sport-specific rehab and injury prevention. She enjoys working with people of all ages to support active, healthy lifestyles and return them to the activities they love.

Outside the Clinic

When she’s not treating patients, Ariella enjoys climbing at the bouldering gym, relaxing at the beach, or exploring nature on foot.
