Celeste Martinez – Physiotherapist in Manly

Physiotherapist

Celeste Martinez is a highly skilled physiotherapist based in Manly, with nearly 10 years of experience in private practice. Originally from Argentina, Celeste graduated from the prestigious University of Buenos Aires, where she developed a strong clinical foundation in sports injury rehabilitation and athlete recovery.

Celeste’s passion for movement began at a young age through her active involvement in judo, European handball, soccer, and long-distance running. Her personal connection to sport inspired her career in physiotherapy, where she combines her love for exercise with a deep understanding of injury prevention and recovery.

After working extensively with athletes in Argentina, Celeste moved to Australia in 2017 to broaden her professional experience and pursue her passion for travel. Since arriving, she has continued to build on her expertise by completing her Certificate IV in Personal Training in 2019, followed by Pilates instructor training in 2021. These additional qualifications allow her to integrate strength, mobility, and Pilates-based exercise into her rehabilitation programs.

A Holistic Approach to Sports Rehabilitation and Recovery

Celeste has also worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with a local soccer team over the past four years, giving her hands-on experience managing training loads, recovery, and return-to-play strategies. While undergoing her Australian physiotherapy recognition process, she further enhanced her hands-on skills by working as a remedial and sports massage therapist for two years.

With a strong focus on empowering her patients, Celeste takes a holistic, team-based approach to care. She believes recovery is most successful when clients are actively involved, motivated, and supported throughout their rehab journey. Whether it’s helping someone recover from a sports injury or return to everyday movement pain-free, Celeste’s goal is to make a meaningful difference in her patients’ lives.

We’re proud to have Celeste as part of our MGS Physio Manly team. As a Manly local, you’ll often find her walking her dog along the coast, relaxing with a coffee and a good book, or swimming at her favourite spot—the Bower, which she says is the best place on earth.
