Ebony Troy

Rehab Physiotherapist

Ebony grew up in Jersey, a small island in the UK. She moved to Bristol for university and remained there working for the last 5 years. She has a passion for helping people and having a positive impact on their lives, which is what sparked her interest in becoming a physiotherapist. Having played sports from a young age and suffering many injuries herself, she experienced first hand how Physiotherapy can so effectively change someone’s life and get them back on the track.

Having grown up by the beach,  moving to Manly was a no brainer and so she feels like Manly is her home away from home.

Qualifications:

– Bsc (Hons) Physiotherapy in Bristol UK

– Certificate in Personal Training

Ebony has worked in an aged care setting currently part time,  and coaches part time in a gym in Manly

Ebony has vast  experience in acute injuries in the hospital setting and post-op orthopaedic and plastics surgery. She is excited to now be a part of the second part of somebody’s journey out of hospital, helping them to return to their hobbies and chosen form of exercises and favourite activities.

She has played netball from a young age and continues to play 3 times a week in our local area.

Ebony loves to cook! She feels it is part of her therapy after a long day at work,  just getting lost for an hour cooking something new!

She loves the ocean! Having swum all year round back in the UK, swimming in Australia’s winter is a breeze for her. Now she has set herself some further personal challenges, trying to master the art of  surfing and most recently she has  taken up golf!
