Luke Tamanini

Physiotherapist

We have known Luke for many years, and have kept a close eye on him, with a view of making him part of our MGS team when we could snag his services. Luke is born and bred on the Northern Beaches and has been working in private practice across the Spit Bridge from us. Luke comes with double Degrees, being a Masters in Physiotherapy after completing a three-year Exercise & Sports Science Degree beforehand at Sydney University.

He has engaged in a wide variety sporting events throughout his life including high level gymnastics, basketball, golf, and weightlifting whilst continuing to run around the park in high level rugby competition playing 1st Grade reps for Forest Rugby.

After working in private practice physiotherapy and working alongside NSW Basketball Juniors Representative teams including Manly Sand Slam Tournament and NSW selection camps he has moved back to our local community and brings his experience and passion for treating and elevating athletes in every sense of the word whether it’s the casual gym goer, or an aspiring superstar.

Utilising both degrees and his own experiences, both on and off the field, Luke’s goal is to help all his clients return to what they love doing. Luke is passionate about providing effective Manual Therapy, and has found Dry Needling to be an effective adjunct to his treatment style.

In his free time, he enjoys going on getaway camping adventures, playing rugby, and if lucky the occasional snowboarding weekend. He spent 3 months snowboarding and skiing in Aspen and Italy to hone his skills.  Now all we need to do is get him on a surfboard if he is to settle in with us in Manly. We are very excited to have him on board.
