Matt Boom

Rehab Physiotherapist

Matt’s passion for physiotherapy started in 2014 when he started working as an Allied Health Assistant, helping to run rehab gym classes in Canberra. He maintained this role while completing his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours), and graduated from University of Canberra in 2019. He moved to Sydney in 2020 to complete rotations in various hospital departments at North Shore Private and Strathfield.

He is currently working as a Clinical Specialist in Robotics, where he oversees numerous total knee and total hip replacements in operating theatres.

He has stayed connected to physiotherapy by dedicating weekends to running rehabilitation gym sessions and helping on the medical ward at Kareena Private in Caringbah.

Outside of work Matt is an avid tenpin bowler and coffee drinker. He also enjoys exploring the walks around the local area, including North Head and Manly to Spit Bridge.
