Drinking enough water throughout the day helps keep the discs in our spine hydrated, which can help prevent back pain and stiffness. Aim for at least 8-10 glasses of water daily or whatever feels right to you.

7. Avoid prolonged sitting 

Sitting for prolonged periods can have adverse effects on our health and well-being. One of the most common issues associated with prolonged sitting is back pain. The pressure that builds up on our back and spine can lead to discomfort, stiffness and even chronic pain.
